Last Spring Al & I toured with Cillavee and Tom as The Big Banana Bong Band. We had so much fun we decided to exchange sound files: A round robin, as follows - Al sends a file to Cillavee, Tom and Walter, they respond then Cillavee sends a file to Al, Tom and Walter, and so on ... This album is the result.

Claire Elizabeth Barratt aka Cillavee
is an inter-disciplinary artist with a performing arts background. She is the director of Cilla Vee Life Arts – an arts organization with a focus on cross-media collaboration. Her work utilizes artistic disciplines of dance, music, text, media, visual and installation art. Claire has presented her work in venues as diverse as Jacob’s Pillow, the New York Botanical Gardens, Black Mountain College Museum + Art Center and Art Basel Miami. She has performed and taught throughout the USA, Canada, Europe, Japan and Pakistan. Claire now uses Asheville NC as her home-base where she runs The Center for Connection + Collaboration - or CCC.

Tom Law
is a composer/improviser from Saugerties NY who performs laptop-based, electro-acoustic music with viola da gamba.

Rather than describe what this sounds like (a futile task), I will describe how it makes me feel. First it is much like white noise, blocking the world around me. It's just me and whatever I happen to be giving my attention to with no distractions or external worries. Then it is energizing and uplifting. I have more focus and energy. These soundscapes get me in the zone to help me concentrate on whatever I'm doing, whether it be washing dishes or scrolling Facebook. And it sounds damn cool too. dharmalogos
